How we protect what you give us.
A privacy service has to be careful with the data it needs to do its job. This is what we do with yours.
Encryption
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Sensitive identifiers you choose to monitor, such as a Social Security number, are encrypted and used only to match against breach data. We never display them in full.
Data minimization
We collect what the service needs to find and remove your listings and to run the monitoring you turn on, and nothing more. Features you do not use do not collect data.
No selling of personal data, ever
Task Force exists to get your information off the market. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with data brokers.
Account linking
The Subscription Manager and Money Plan link to your financial accounts through a secure, read-only connection with a regulated aggregator. Task Force never sees or stores your bank login, and a read-only connection cannot move money.

Responsible disclosure
If you believe you have found a security issue in a Task Force product, email security@gettaskforce.com with the details and how to reproduce it. We acknowledge reports, work with you on a fix, and do not pursue action against good-faith research.
